Position Overview

Understanding the Role

Step Into a High-Demand Role with Built-In Volume and a Clear Succession Plan

As an interventional cardiologist joining this private group in Southern California, you will step directly into an established practice with substantial volume, respected partnerships, and the rare opportunity to inherit structural heart responsibilities from a retiring senior partner. You'll rotate across two major hospitals—St. Bernardine Medical Center and Riverside Community Hospital—in a block schedule designed to optimize your time and clinical focus. With a strong regional reputation, expanding infrastructure, and ample support from fellows and midlevel providers, this position offers immediate relevance and long-term leadership potential.

This is not a build-from-scratch opportunity—you will inherit procedures, patients, and responsibilities from day one, with a vision for succession and growth that supports both your clinical interests and professional satisfaction.

Serve a Region in Need, Backed by a Trusted Name

The practice serves a densely populated area spanning San Bernardino, Riverside, and surrounding Inland Empire communities. With more than 1,000 PCIs performed annually across the main hospital that you will be covering, St. Bernadine Medical Center and 40–50 structural heart procedures per year, the clinical need is substantial. Two senior interventionalists are transitioning out of full-time roles, offering a natural handoff of patients, procedures, and practice visibility. Your presence will help meet urgent patient needs while enabling the group to sustain and expand its structural heart and peripheral intervention programs.

This is a community where patients are waiting to be seen and fellows are eager to learn. The group's hybrid model—private practice with academic touchpoints—allows you to enjoy autonomy while contributing to the development of the next generation of cardiologists. Fellows assist with rounding, notes, and procedural prep, creating a collaborative and supported environment in both hospitals.
