Physician Recruitment Process and Compensation Overview

Contract Term

  • 3-year initial term, renewable annually thereafter
  • 120-day notice without cause

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $500,000/year (guaranteed during initial term)
  • Productivity Model: $60 per wRVU after 8,333 wRVU base
  • Paid Biweekly: 26 weeks/year
  • CME Allowance: $3,000 per year

Paid Time Off

  • 25 paid leave days/year during guarantee period (vacation, sick, CME, holidays combined)
  • Leave days are at the physician's discretion

Benefits (Start Day 1)

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life and disability insurance
  • 403(b) retirement plan with employer contribution
  • Professional license and membership fee reimbursement up to $1,500
  • Occurrence-based malpractice insurance

Relocation & Bonuses

  • Relocation Assistance: ~$10,000 (negotiable; taxable)
  • Sign-on Bonus: Offered; amount and tax structure TBD (often via payroll)
  • Promissory Note/Payback Terms: Confirmed at contract stage

Non-Compete

  • Enforceable within 15 miles of assigned location(s)
  • Effective during term and 1 year post-termination
