AdventHealth Hendersonville Cardiologist Recruitment
AdventHealth Hendersonville, a member of the AdventHealth system, is actively recruiting a Non-Invasive Cardiologist due to substantial community growth, expanding service lines, and succession planning needs. This position is hospital-employed and offers an exciting blend of outpatient clinic care and inpatient hospital consults and rounding, with a light 1:4 call schedule.
The incoming physician will play a foundational role in preparing for the opening of a new cardiac cath lab, scheduled for completion in late 2025. Currently, high-acuity and STEMI cases are referred to Mission Health; however, this will shift once the lab opens. You will also participate in weekly inter-hospital cath conferences alongside Mission Health and Pardee Cardiology Associates.
Key Details
- Location: 50 Hospital Drive (Clinic) & 100 Hospital Drive (Hospital), Hendersonville, NC – Both buildings are connected
- Scope: Outpatient non-invasive cardiology, inpatient consults and rounds
- Procedures: Stress tests, ambulatory monitors, Holter, Echo, TEE, cardioversions, nuclear stress, cardiac CT, zio monitors, etc.
- Clinic Volume: 15–20 patients/day (30 min new, 15 min follow-up)
- Clinic Schedule: Mon–Thurs 9am–5pm, Fri 9am–12pm
- Technology: Epic EMR, M*Modal AI dictation, 4 Philips echo machines, nuclear imaging, treadmill testing, CT FFR, fiber-optic TEE probe
- Call: 1:4, light and phone-based; on-call physician rounds AM/PM, “reader of the day” with reduced clinic time
