As the Electrophysiology Medical Director at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, your clinical practice will be deeply engaging and highly specialized. You’ll care for a complex and diverse patient population drawn from a service area of over 1.2 million residents, many of whom are referred from within an expansive regional network. This role gives you a seat at the center of an evolving EP program that balances advanced procedural work with patient-centered care.
You’ll perform a full spectrum of electrophysiology procedures, including ablations, pacemaker and ICD implantation, and complex arrhythmia management. The environment is designed to support your expertise: four dedicated EP labs equipped with the latest technology, experienced cath lab staff, and a culture that prioritizes both excellence and efficiency. Your clinical focus will be enhanced by an EP-only call schedule and a collaborative rounding team.
Administrative burdens are minimized by the presence of skilled APPs who assist with office consultations and hospital rounds. The clinic operates with efficiency and continuity, offering full pre- and post-procedure support, and you’ll have the opportunity to shape care delivery models for both inpatient and outpatient settings. This includes outreach to regional clinics 1–2 times per month to extend access to specialized EP care.
This is an immersive and rewarding clinical experience built around a high-volume, high-impact service line. You’ll be well-supported, well-equipped, and positioned to practice at the top of your field in an environment that values innovation, teamwork, and patient outcomes.
