The Hartwell Family Clinic operates with a small, experienced team delivering primary care to the Hartwell community and surrounding areas. The clinic has been open since March 2025 and has built an established patient panel under the current physician's care. The incoming physician steps into a functioning practice with existing clinical infrastructure, staff support, and an APP colleague already in place.

Kaelan Woodall Dawson, DNP, AGACNP-BC is a native of Elbert County and a double board-certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She trained at the Medical College of Georgia and Augusta University, and her clinical background spans trauma and emergency medicine, critical care, palliative care, oncology, and internal medicine. She implemented a sepsis detection and intervention program at Elbert Memorial Hospital as part of her doctoral work.
