Clinical Details: A Comprehensive and Supported Practice

In this role, you will care for a diverse patient population seeking answers to complex joint, muscle, and autoimmune conditions. As the community’s sole rheumatologist, you’ll provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services that will have an immediate and lasting impact on patient health outcomes.

Your clinic will be located within the hospital’s modern medical office building, allowing for direct access to ancillary services and seamless collaboration with colleagues. The workflow is designed to maximize both efficiency and physician satisfaction — from integrated EMR (Epic) to robust support staff and the availability of an APP if desired. You’ll also find yourself supported by a strong referral network eager to partner with you in patient care.

Patient Care Experience

You will manage a broad spectrum of conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, psoriatic arthritis, osteoporosis, connective tissue diseases, and autoimmune disorders. Patients will look to you not only for treatment but also for education and empowerment in managing lifelong conditions.

Procedural Opportunities

Your practice will include key rheumatology procedures such as:

  • Joint aspirations and injections
  • Biopsies
  • DXA scans
  • Nailfold videocapillaroscopy

These procedures allow you to offer comprehensive, evidence-based care while minimizing the need for patients to travel outside the community.

Collaborative Environment

The practice model is team-oriented, with seamless connections to:

  • Orthopedics, neurology, dermatology, podiatry, and PM&R
  • Physical therapy and occupational therapy services
  • A pharmacy located onsite for easy access to specialty medications
