Paris, Tennessee, provides a diverse range of educational opportunities. Bethel University is a private Christian university with a student body of over 4,500 students and a strong presence in NAIA's Mid-South Conference. Murray State University, a public university with a student population of over 9,000 students, is part of NCAA Division I - MVC. The University of Tennessee Martin is a public university that serves over 6,700 students and participates in NCAA Division I FCS - Ohio Valley Conference.
