Clinical Component

Navigating the Clinical Component

The ENT practice operates out of a dedicated clinic in the medical office building attached to UK Kings Daughters Medical Center. The group sees a broad mix of pediatric and adult patients, and the incoming physician has flexibility to weight the practice toward either population based on personal preference. A strong referral pipeline flows from the health system's extensive employed primary care network, so new patient volume is consistent from day one.

Clinic Operations

The clinic is open Monday through Thursday, with APPs on-site five days per week to manage follow-ups, allergy patients, and consult facilitation. An onsite scope room supports in-clinic procedures without the need to schedule OR time for routine diagnostic work.

  • Clinic days: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Scope room on-site for in-clinic diagnostic procedures
  • 1 MA assigned per physician
  • APP coverage: five days per week
  • Allergy clinic on-site; Angie is the dedicated allergy APP
  • Allergy participation is optional for the incoming physician

Inspire Therapy

Two of the current ENT physicians perform Inspire procedures together and have achieved nationally recognized outcomes. The group strongly prefers the incoming physician to participate in the Inspire program.
