UK Kings Daughters Medical Center is recruiting a third Interventional Radiologist to join a busy, procedure-heavy IR program at a Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center in Eastern Kentucky. The position is replacing a departing physician on an active team where current physicians are averaging 10 to 15 cases per day.
The incoming physician joins a hospital-employed group with dedicated IR suites, a bi-plane suite, robust APP support, and a strong collaborative relationship across cardiology, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, and the emergency department.

This is a full-scope IR position requiring both interventional and vascular case coverage. Stroke intervention experience, specifically endovascular thrombectomy (EVT), is strongly preferred given the hospital's TSC designation and 24/7 stroke care obligations.
The health system is physician-led with active physician leadership opportunities across service lines. The IR team operates with a highly collaborative culture and maintains close working relationships with cardiology, vascular surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, and neurosurgery.
