The clinic includes 9 exam rooms, 1 procedure room and 4 handheld ultrasounds. The hospital which is connected to clinic and only a short walk away has 4 total room, 3 of which are for Labor and Delivery, 2 ORs with general surgery and urology on staff and 20 beds for post-partum and post op patients.
Holy Cross Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital and a Level 1 nursery so there are no high-risk deliveries and any babies less than 35 weeks will be sent to Tucson. They have labs, x-rays, mammography, EKGs and bone density in house. They also have a room where they provide IV fluids and another for IV antibiotics as well as a room for wound care. They also have a fantastic general surgeon in the building that can be used a very helpful resource from time to time. They have a great relationship with Tucson Medical Center who do all their level 3 ultrasounds and have high risk patients transferred there, and they even have a cell phone number they can call to help arrange transport. They also have a strong relationship with Banner University and a Maternal Fetal Medicine physician about an hour away.
