Staff Update for OBGYN Department: New Provider Joining and Departure of Dr. Woodard

The incoming provider will be joining one additional OBGYN and one NP. The current provider Dr. Woodard is departing May 19th to pursue a new professional opportunity closer to her son’s school in Tucson. However, they have locums providers that work in house, one full time and one part time and they are still looking to add one more in the next few months.

Emily Roth is the NP on staff and is really considered a fully practicing provider. She sees and manages her own patients and is the first assist with c-sections. They also have 2 MAs per provider who are often used as translators, 2 front desk staff that assist with calls and administrative work and a scheduler who does all scheduling for the OBGYN team and within the hospital they also have 2 L&D nurses and a small nursery.
