This position is designed for a clinician who wants to make a significant impact. With a substantial waiting list of patients and a service line that has seen a 40% increase in unique patients across the system, you will have the chance to serve a community with a high demand for your specialty. The team is actively looking to recruit two providers to alleviate the burden of being a sole practitioner, demonstrating the system's commitment to supporting its physicians.

  • Clinical Autonomy and Collaboration: You will be employed by Ochsner Children's and will have a great deal of autonomy in your role. You will also work within a highly collaborative and friendly medical team.
  • A Growing Practice: This is a chance to build upon an already established program with a significant patient demand. The clinic is conveniently located in the hospital's Medical Office Building (MOB).
  • Favorable Schedule: The position offers a 5-day workweek with no evening or weekend call.
  • Dedicated Support: You will have APP (Advanced Practice Provider) support if you desire it. The department is also actively recruiting for a Nephrology specialist to provide additional support. You will also find plenty of Pulmonary and Cardiology support, along with good Immunology resources.
