Outpatient Rheumatology | Boone, NC | UNC Health Appalachian

The practice focuses on core, high-volume Rheumatology with a well-defined patient population and no hospital-based responsibilities. You will spend your days in a structured outpatient setting with strong nursing support and in-house infusion capabilities. The clinic has operated continuously since 2008, giving it deep roots in the region and a loyal, established patient base.

Your day is built around a predictable, manageable rhythm: 17 patients per day with one-hour slots for new patients and 20-minute follow-up appointments. That structure gives you enough time to provide thorough care without the compressed, assembly-line feel common in larger urban practices. With six exam rooms available and no hospital rounding pulling you away, your focus stays where it belongs.
