Your clinical practice in Grants Pass will be shaped by robust patient demand and the flexibility to focus on the aspects of urology you enjoy most. Whether you want to incorporate robotics, focus on outpatient procedures, or manage complex cases, the infrastructure and referrals are already in place. With approximately 80 referrals daily flowing into the system and limited competition, you’ll enjoy a well-stocked schedule and the autonomy to structure your clinical days.
You will care for a predominantly older patient population, reflective of southern Oregon’s status as a retirement destination. The majority of patients are covered by Medicare, and many live in rural areas with limited specialty access, making your services not only valued but vital. You’ll collaborate with experienced APPs and surgical PAs who assist with rounding, consults, and minor procedures. Support staff is described as responsive, experienced, and efficient in managing referrals, scheduling, and triage.
Grants Pass offers a da Vinci 5 robotic platform, in-house surgical services, and flexible clinic hours. A new, expanded urology clinic opening in August 2025 will provide a dedicated, modern space with ample capacity to grow.
Call is well-structured to promote work-life balance. You’ll share in a 1:5 weekend rotation with Medford-based colleagues and can opt into weekday call coverage to fit your preferences. In-house PAs cover daytime rounds and consults, and after-hours needs are triaged through an efficient system that minimizes disruptions.
