Physician Recruitment Process and Compensation Overview

Overview

This is a launching physician position with a Year 1 base salary guarantee, transitioning to a profit sharing structure beginning Year 2. Final compensation figures and full benefits terms are confirmed in the offer letter and through direct discussion with the practice.

Compensation Structure

  • Year 1 base salary guarantee: $350,000
  • Profit sharing beginning Year 2, based on a percentage of net collections above a defined revenue threshold
  • No equity component; the practice uses a profit share model for founding physicians
  • Specific share terms, thresholds, and additional components are finalized at the offer stage

The guarantee is designed to support the ramp period while you build your patient panel from the existing 13,000-patient base. The profit share model is the primary upside vehicle once you are fully ramped, and reflects the practice's view that founding physicians should participate directly in the value they generate.
