Clinical Focus

The practice serves a sophisticated patient population and is building a women's health program oriented around hormones, longevity, and preventive medicine. Your clinical work will center on the following areas:

  • Perimenopause and menopause management
  • Hormone therapy and hormone optimization
  • Sexual health and midlife women's health
  • Preventive and longevity-focused care
  • Elective in-office procedures appropriate to your interest and training

You will also help develop the clinical pathways and protocols for the women's health program. Dr. Wu prefers to bring in clinicians who can shape their service line rather than inherit a fixed setup. Equipment selection and procedure mix will be driven in part by your training, preferences, and clinical judgment.

Patient Source

Dr. Wu has built a 13,000-patient database over 20 years in Beverly Hills. Many of these patients have asked the practice to add a gynecologist. You will not be building a panel from scratch. Internal referrals, marketing support, and outreach during your first six months are structured to seed your panel quickly from this existing base.

Required Qualifications

  • Board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN
  • Active or eligible California medical license
  • Excellent bedside manner with a discerning patient population
  • Intellectual curiosity and interest in evidence-based, longevity-focused women's health

Formal training in menopause medicine or hormone therapy is welcome but not required.

Schedule

  • 4 clinical days per week
  • No call, no weekends, no OB coverage
  • Predictable office schedule
  • Specific clinical days flexible based on practice needs and your preferences

Founding Physician Responsibilities

As the first gynecologist at the practice, you will:

  • Help design the clinical workflow for the women's health service line
  • Recommend in-office equipment and procedures appropriate to your scope
  • Contribute to protocol development for menopause, hormone, and longevity pathways
  • Build your patient panel with marketing and outreach support during the ramp period

Ramp-Up Plan

The practice uses a structured 12-month ramp to integrate new physicians into its model.

Phase Focus
Months 1 to 3 Culture and practice fit, including shadowing and patient interaction training
Months 3 to 6 Begin seeing patients with marketing support, speaking engagements, and outreach
Months 6 to 12 Expand independent practice and continue program development

A minimum 30-day shadowing period with Dr. Wu is required before independent patient panels begin, regardless of prior experience. This is a standard part of every founding physician onboarding at the practice.

Compensation Structure

Year 1 includes a salary guarantee. Compensation transitions to a tiered net-revenue share model beginning Year 2. Full detail appears in the Compensation and Benefits section.
