The Team

Practice Team Overview

The practice is physician-led and intentionally small. At the September 1 launch, you will work alongside two dermatologists, with a functional medicine physician planned as a near-term addition. The structure favors direct collaboration over hierarchy, with each physician building a service line within a shared cash-pay platform.

Gynecologist

This is the role being recruited. You will be the first gynecologist at the practice and the lead clinician for the women's health service line.

Functional Medicine Physician (Planned)

A functional medicine physician is planned as the next clinical addition. Focus areas are expected to include preventive health, hormone therapy adjuncts, and longevity-focused care. Timing depends on candidate availability.

Advanced Practice and Nursing Support

The practice does not currently employ APPs, NPs, PAs, or midwives. Each physician sees their own patients directly. This is a deliberate design choice consistent with the practice's high-touch care model.

Clinical and Administrative Support

Role Function
Medical Assistants Approximately 1.3 per physician, with a floater always available
Patient Advocates Front-of-house, intake, scheduling, patient communication
Sales Coordinators Elective procedure consultations, pricing, and treatment planning
Centralized Operations Payroll, HR, accounting, billing, and back-office functions

You will not be responsible for any administrative or back-office work. The model is designed to keep physician time on patient care.

Practice Culture and Values

The practice operates with a clear identity. Common threads across the team:

  • Direct physician-to-patient relationships, including personal phone follow-up
  • Intentionality in clinical care, patient communication, and presentation
  • Evidence-based decision making with openness to new clinical approaches
  • Collaborative discussion of clinical pathways and protocols
  • Cash-pay model that removes insurance-driven friction from patient care

The team values founders who think like clinicians and clinicians who think like founders. As the first gynecologist, your perspective on women's health workflow, equipment selection, and program design will carry real weight.
