Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System has 167 licensed beds and 23 emergency suites. The hospital offers outstanding ancillary services including Laboratory, Radiology and Therapy services. At our Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, women can have their annual mammograms, biopsies, and can meet with a nurse navigator if needed. The Women’s Center offers six newly remodeled labor and delivery suites and has a secure nursery for the care of our newborns.

This not-for-profit hospital with no trauma designation with a daily census average between 110-115. They perform 900+ deliveries in our 7 LDR’s. rate. From their 23 bed ER that sees 37,000 patients annually, they have 15% admission rate! They also have an ER and a separate Express Care waiting room. They have 6 OR’s and 2 endoscopy suites in the hospital along with a 4 OR ASC across the street. Combined, Morristown-Hamblen perform over 8,000 procedures a year. We have an all CRNA group overseen by our anesthesiologist Dr. Davenport. Our radiology services are covered by the University of Tennessee radiologists with PET/CT, 1.5T MR, 64 slice CT on our campus. We offer a sleep center.
Their 12 Bed Critical care unit runs full and is managed under their Hospitalist service. They have a wound care center which opened in 2019 with two chambers. Morristown-Hamblen’s cancer center includes Hem/Onc, radiation oncology (with a Varian Trubeam) and weekly tumor boards. They also have a 12 Bed behavior unit.
