Gastroenterology Overview
Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System is seeking additional Gastroenterologists to join Dr. Linas Adams, due to community demand. The practice serves a wide area and can support up to 5 busy GIs. Dr. Adams offers a general GI opportunity with potential for advanced procedures, and he is willing to mentor. The incoming GI will have a busy practice, as Dr. Adams currently has a 6-month waitlist and is turning away patients. Dr. Adams is supportive and expects the incoming GI to create their own schedule. The practice offers a collegial atmosphere with no tension and ample support from nurses and physicians. The hospital encourages additional training and education for nurses, which enhances collaboration among all providers.
