A Comprehensive Clinical Mission with Academic Depth

Your clinical work at St. Joseph's Behavioral Health Center will be firmly rooted in patient-centered care, supported by a team of professionals committed to excellence. This role is strictly based in Stockton and does not require travel to partner sites like Napa or Sacramento. You will help lead care within a 35-bed inpatient unit and an active outpatient Behavioral Science Center that serves thousands of patients annually. The practice is deeply embedded within the community, offering a full continuum of psychiatric care from crisis stabilization to ongoing therapy.

As a faculty physician, you will guide residents through both clinical encounters and structured academic development. The environment fosters independence, and you will be trusted to manage your time effectively, with the flexibility to spend the necessary time with each patient. The role is ideal for a psychiatrist who thrives on mentorship, values team-based care, and wants to see tangible impact in both patient outcomes and resident growth.
