Your compensation package through Touro University Medical Group (TUMG) is designed to recognize the unique value you bring as a clinician-educator. The model balances financial security with growth opportunity, offering a generous base salary along with structured productivity incentives and a full suite of benefits to support your professional and personal well-being.
You will start with a 2-year income guarantee set at $350,000, which aligns closely with MGMA median benchmarks for psychiatrists in the Western U.S. During this period, your performance will be monitored using a productivity model based on wRVUs. At the end of the guarantee, your compensation transitions to an ongoing salary plus RVU bonus structure. Physicians who exceed the 75th percentile productivity threshold (currently 3,355 RVUs) are eligible for a salary increase up to $419,000.
