This is your opportunity to join a growing, established group in a turn-key general Endocrinology that offers a great quality of life. You’d be living in one of Southern California’s premier resort destinations – without the traffic and congestion! This area offers incredible natural scenery, amazing hiking trails, nationally ranked tournaments and festivals, and excellent restaurants. Palm Springs offers year-round warm weather and sunny skies with lush Palm trees and grass from their 100+ golf courses, while also being in the midst of an 11,000-foot snow-capped mountain backdrop in the winter.

This position is set up for clinical work, but there is also the opportunity to teach Internal Medicine residents that are in Eisenhower’s ACGME residency program. They see the A-Z of general Endocrinology, including diabetes, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, pituitary, osteoporosis, and metabolic disorders. The Endocrinology team is getting 150 referrals/month from 75+ Primary Care providers and other specialists. 15-20 of those referral each month are hip fracture referral from Ortho and about 50% of those referrals/consults turn into a patient visit.

Call Schedule

Call is one weekend every 5th weekend, weekends only. The Hospitalists with Eisenhower are very proficient and are covering admitted patients. Dr. White, shared with me, “they are only calling you if it’s necessary, so call is pretty minimal, and we have a good relationship with them so it works really well.”
